NEW YEARS EVE DINING & CELEBRATION

The French have a saying - Joie de Vivre.  It's a simple concept meaning “Joy of Life”, yet it remains a notion easily lost in daily practice.  So, while the hustle and bustle of everyday life may prevent us from ever actually knowing true Joie de Vivre, on November 18th 2005, you will have our chance to taste it at the Emporium Coffeehouse & Cafe'. 

Georges Duboeuf's Beaujolais Nouveau will be arriving that day in the Valley and we think it’s an opportunity for a little Joie de Vivre in Scottsbluff!  Plan to join us for the evening, or part of the evening.  We will be offering the Beaujolais on its own or paired with an offering of French cheeses, fruits, nuts and bread, the perfect companions for this lush, fruity, young wine.  Of course our regular appetizer and dinner menus will also be available.

The release of the Beaujolais Nouveau is not an official holiday, but we’d like to make it an annual event at the Emporium Coffeehouse & Café.  Please call ahead to make a reservation for the afternoon or evening of November 18, 2005 and enjoy a little taste of France.  Read on for a brief history of Beaujolais and George Duboeuf’s thoughts on the 2005 vintage.
